The coming years an increasing number of operational and new solar photovoltaic (PV) parks will be available against attractive prices/returns. These parks will be developed primarily in the southern and central regions of Europe, Middle-East, UAE and North America.

Solar parks generate power everyday for at least 25 years and may be up to 30 or even 40 years. The power generated can be fed into the power grid. The power company will compensate for this energy in one of two ways;

• They will give you a credit for the power you produce; this is called net metering,
• They will pay you for the power you produce; this is called a feed-in tariff (FIT); often given for 25 years. This payment is the revenue that a solar installation generates:

Backed by multiple large private investors, Zolarix can, after a thorough review, (co)-finance projects, become co-owner of a project and receive part of revenue that is created through the above FIT model. For this model we typically participate through an SPV. Although we prefer to invest in solar parks that are larger than 5MW, we can definitely help with smaller projects as well.
